CLUB REPORT 2015-2016

1. Club Inauguration

        This Association Club helps to empower the student community to face the world through their knowledge and effective leadership qualities.

         The club activities of BCA Department takes place once in a week and the organizers will conduct many different activities every week which would be very interesting and interactive so that everyone participates individually. 

All the three years will joyfully and enthusiastically participate in all the events. So that there would be an interactive meeting between all the students of the department. The students will be divided up into 10 groups which consist of students from three years equally and one representative for each group.

 All the representatives will have a meeting before every club meet to discuss about what to do that week in our meet. We have one president and one secretary for our club.

We used to schedule our activity and those activity changes periodically. So, that we feel interested in our topics. During our first meet we separated ourselves into groups by our president and secretary. And during our second meet on July we had a club inauguration. And there started our journey to explore things other than our academics

And then we had a presentation on different topics related to recent developments in the field of computer. This presentation was held by one student from each group . Since our first years were fresher’s we made them to have a self -introduction before us so that it could improve their confidence and reduce their stage fear. Our club meet basically concentrate on improvement of personality of individual so that they could perform well in their performance in future. We also had a program on career development.

Still we have scheduled to conduct quizzes, puzzles, seminar on personality development  and to improve general knowledge about our field. And also to conduct mock interview sessions which would be helpful when they attend interviews. We have also planned to conduct group discussions and aptitude test to improve them personally and to make them ready to attend an interview by our students who got selected in their campus interviews this year.

The Session was handled by “Ms. L.Senthil Lakshmi”. She gave  information about Projects on Computer applications and Software Engineering. The areas of computer projects was delivered by her elaborately. Particularly the information which was given by them is very useful to III years

 Mrs. B. Kavitha and Mr.Johnson from SSL computer education, gave a lecture on the topic “Hardware and Networking”. They gave detailed information about networking. The session was very useful and Students get knowledge about the topic.

GROUP DISCUSSION

On this day all the students of BCA gathered in front of SM block. Event started with prayer song and was monitored by Mrs.L.Delphin Sahaya Rani., Asst.Professor, Dept of  BCA Department.

The students were divided into ten groups and they volunteered with different ideas and facts about Interview skills development. Students from each group was given chance to speak. Those discussions were really interesting and it was very useful for all the students. Students were actively participated in the discussion.

Event started with prayer song and was monitored by Mrs.L.Delphin Sahaya Rani., & Mrs.G.Preetha . The event commenced at 10 a.m. after the felicitation of the judges, with the participating teams eager to present their ideas and innovations. It was indeed a sea of brilliance, as team after another came forward armed with incredible, original prototypes, research papers and advancements. Fielding question after question by the judges, the participants displayed their undying thirst for knowledge, whilst showcasing their immense interest and the astonishing amount of effort and research put into each of their individual presentations.
